SADO Hosts Informational Session for Friends and Family

Join SADO for an Informational Session on what to expect after a loved one is convicted of a crime and sentenced to the Michigan Department of Corrections. SADO staff will be on hand to address the process of appealing a conviction and how an appeal is different from the trial or plea proceedings, and will inform attendees on the visiting policies of the MDOC, how to communicate and stay connected with your incarcerated loved ones, and more.

Detroit Parking Options: Free parking is available at the Griswold-Larned Parking Garage located one block from SADO offices on Griswold between Congress and Larned. Space is limited to the first 15 cars for this event. Bring your parking ticket with you and SADO will validate your ticket at the end of the session so that there is no cost to you. Note: SADO will only validate parking tickets from this location and only for entry to the lot after 5pm.
Parking meters on the surrounding streets of Griswold, Congress, Shelby, Fort Street and Lafayette run until 10:00 pm and cost $1/hour. Valid parking is strictly enforced in the City of Detroit.
Lansing Parking Options: Parking is available at surrounding meters for $1/hour. Meters stop running at 6 pm.
