Time: October 15, 2020 - 3-5:00 pm
Location: Zoom

Attendees of this session will learn about the history of race in the criminal legal system and how that knowledge helps defenders fight systemic racial injustice to help individual clients. During this session, we will discuss how to build a record and where to focus to bring the court's attention to racial injustice. We will also walk through how to frame a brief to compel the court to address racial injustice.
