ACLU Phone App Records Police Contact
In a perhaps reverse-surveillance development, the ACLU, Southern California branch, has developed and released for California residents a phone-app that automatically forwards video of a police-encounter to the ACLU, as well as alerting other app-users nearby that an incident is occurring. Several ACLU branches in other states (Missouri, New York, and Oregon) have similar apps.
