25th Judicial Circuit of Michigan - Marquette County

Types of Cases Handled in Circuit Court:  Felony Criminal Matters, Lawsuits over $25,000, Divorce, Paternity, Family Support, Custody, Parenting Time Disputes, Personal Protection Orders, All matters involving equitable relief including injunctions and original writs, Appeals from District Court and Administrative Agencies.  Each Judge's administrative aide also serves as the case evaluation clerk and assignment clerk.  The County Clerk acts as a general secretary to the County:  Maintenance of public records, Clerk of the Marquette County Board of Commissioners, Clerk of the circuit court, Administrator of elections, Passport agent.
