Local Success: Mary Chartier
Mary Chartier won a suppression motion June 14, 2012, before Judge Donald L. Allen, Jr., of the 55th Judicial District Court (Mason). Ms. Chartier won on the basis that the stop constituted an unreasonably long detention. She thanked Thomas M. Loeb for providing a citation to the unpublished decision of United States v. Johnson, decided June 5, 2012, Sixth Circuit Case No. 11-5131, which helped secure the win.
