MAACS is accepting applications to join the roster

Applications accepted through February 28, 2026

The Michigan Appellate Assigned Counsel System (MAACS) is accepting applications from conscientious criminal defense attorneys with all levels of criminal appellate experience. MAACS roster attorneys receive reasonable and reliable attorney fees, investigation and litigation support services, and a variety of other resources, including paid training.

Applications are due by February 28, 2026.
