MAACS attorney to argue before the Michigan Supreme Court in May

MAACS roster attorney Christine A. Pagac will present argument before the Michigan Supreme Court on May 6, 2026. The case is People v Hunter James Hudgins, MSC No. 169160 (COA No. 366876).
The Court directed the parties to address “whether the trial court properly instructed the jury on the causation element of operating while impaired causing death, MCL 257.625(3), (4)(a). See People v Schaefer, 473 Mich 418, 431-439 (2005).” The argument is scheduled to begin at 10:30am.
