Social Media Matters
May 18, 2026 | SADO Detroit
Join SADO’s Project Reentry for its May Workshop on Monday, May 18, from 6-7:30pm at SADO Detroit.
Social media is a big part of everyday life, from staying connected to finding everyday personal and professional opportunities. Social Media Matters will help you learn how to navigate social media with confidence. We’ll cover online safety, how posts may be viewed by employers or the community, and ways to use social media to support your next steps in life.
Our workshop presenters are SADO mitigation interns, Tania Carnegie and Londynn Whaley and we're very grateful for their unique expertise on this topic.
Light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome. Doors lock promptly at 6pm. Parking information is available here.
