3-Day Appellate Writing Workshop
Thursday May 18 – Saturday May 20, 2017
Location: Wayne State University Law School

MAACS Roster Attorneys are invited to attend this 3-day writing workshop designed specifically for criminal appellate practitioners. At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees will walk away with practical tools and skills for improving the quality of their writing. Attendees will learn how to develop a compelling statement of facts, identify and select persuasive legal issues, and improve oral advocacy skills. Attendees will use a mock trial case file or a case from their own caseload to work on during the small group brainstorming and writing sessions.

This workshop is for MAACS Roster Attorneys only. Exceptions may be made with prior approval.
Registrants must attend all three days of the workshop.
Attendees will receive 18. 5 hours of CLE credit.
The workshop is free to all attendees. For attendees traveling over 50 miles, overnight lodging and meals will be covered. (Do not book any accommodations until you get registration confirmation and express instructions).
