John W. Ujlaky won relief for his client June 1, 2018, through a motion to correct judgment of sentence in the 4th Judicial (Jackson County) Circuit Court; references to repeat drug offender and fourth habitual offender were removed from the judgment of sentence.
Michael A. Faraone successfully argued for a corrected judgment of sentence in a first-degree CSC
case in the 13th Judicial (Leelanau County) Circuit Court, resulting in 35-month reduction in the minimum prison term. Mr. Faraone also, in the 5th Judicial (Barry County) Circuit Court, had success from a motion for resentencing; the new minimum prison term was 12-months shorter.
Dominic F. Andriacchi Jr. won acquittals from a jury in June 2018; the defendant was charged with multiple offenses, including OWI (under both theories, UBAL and OUIL); the OWVI lesser included offense; and OWPD (THC).
Adil Haradhvala obtained a lesser charge verdict for his client June 25, 2018, following a jury trial in the 16th Judicial (Macomb County) Circuit Court. The client was acquitted of first-degree premeditated murder.
