Danielle S. Cadoret won not guilty verdicts on two counts of arson in the 3rd Judicial (Wayne County) Circuit Court; the jury hung on several other counts.
Brian M. Thomas won dismissal of a DWLS 2d case in the 72nd Judicial District Court (Marine City). The client was stopped for a defective taillight, but the video showed working taillights.
William J. Livingston won a not guilty verdict in an assault and battery case in the 53rd Judicial District Court (Howell) on August 15, 2019. A few weeks before that, sibling Katherine E. Livingston, second-chairing with Terry J. Olson, won a not guilty verdict in a CSC 4 case, also in the 53rd Judicial District Court (Howell).
Wendy H. Barnwell won not guilty verdicts from a jury in the 3rd Judicial (Wayne County) Circuit Court in a case with charges of felony murder and two counts of first-degree child abuse.
Jennifer J. France, following six days of preliminary examination, worked out a favorable deal for her client in an embezzlement/RICO case with four defendants and alleged losses of $750,000.00 over several years. With sentencing guidelines of 30 to 50 months, Ms. France worked-out a deal for 13 months to 20 years, and $40,000.00 restitution.
Philip M. Duclos, with the Berrien County Public Defender Office, won a not guilty verdict from a jury in a stalking case.
