Project Reentry Workshops
SADO’s Project Reentry facilitates monthly workshops aimed at assisting formerly incarcerated individuals with essential life skills necessary for a successful transition home.
Who Can Attend? All impacted individuals are welcome. Friends and family, community leaders and activists, students, and teachers, are also welcome. Email reentry@sado.org or call 313-670-0309 to RSVP.

2024 Workshops
- January 29, 2024 - It's Tax Time. Attendees will learn about income taxes and have their questions about filing answered.
- March 25, 2024 - Stronger Together with Lorenzo Harrell. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the anxiety and stress that often accompanies coming home.
- May 28, 2024 - Online Safety: Protecting Yourself from Scams. Attendees will learn the best practices and pitfalls when it comes to being safe and secure wherever they share their personal information.
- July 29, 2024 - All About Benefits: Attendees will learn about Social and Supplemental Security benefits and how to apply for them.
- August 26, 2024 - Entrepreneurship: Are you made for this? Attendees will hear about Brian (Rasheed) Arn's journey from incarceration to incorporation and learn tips, challenges, and tools for becoming your own boss.
